(More customer reviews)I recently ordered this shaving soap, I like to shave with hot lather brushed on with a badger bristle brush, and I have several wood shaving bowls. This soap does not fit very well, it has straight sides and the bowl is larger, but has sloping sides, so I had to trim the bottom corner with a knife to get it to fit down in the bowl. It would be helpful to know the diameter and thickness as well as the weight.
The soap works up a good lather and it does a good job in the shaving process, producing a shave as smooth as any I have had. The smell is nice too, reminiscent of the resonous smell of an evergreen forest.
I will probably buy some more, in spite of the size and fit problem.
