(More customer reviews)I recently read about bamboo charcoal (and this soap in particular) on a flight to London. The second I got back home, I got online and purchased it. I'm glad I did. First thing I noticed when I opened the package was the wonderful smell. It's got a very pleasant and natural scent that I love. The black color of the soap is awesome and I love the fact that you can use it on your face and body. I have had it about a week and already notice a nice glow to my skin. Another thing I like about the soap is it really rinses off clean. There's no residue left at all and it makes your skin feel really smooth. I would definitely recommend this soap.

(More customer reviews)If you love oranges, you'll love the scent of this soap.However, it seems to be drying out our skin.And apparently, it's really strong - the few times we've washed our toddler's hands with this soap, rough dry rash patches appear almost immediately.They go away after a day of regular moisturizer application....

In any case, if you've got dry skin, you probably don't want to get these on a regular basis.Every once in a while though, is nice.

Six month ago I would have given this 5 stars, but after our skin has become more and more dry, we've narrowed the problem down to this soap, and cannot give it higher than 3 stars, mostly for the pleasant aroma.

This gentle glycerin hand cleanser smells like a fresh bouquet of lavender...an absolutely wonderful scent. Many cleansers leave my hands feeling dry, or leave a film, but not this one. Soap is highly concentrated and lasts a long time. Great for frequent washing. The hard plastic bottle is very attractive, and is deep green in color.

According to the manufacturer, at least 70% of the ingredients are certified organic, using 100% vegetarian ingredients. No sodium lauryl or laureth sulfate. Not animal tested.
