(More customer reviews)I have used an olive oil moisturizer by Olivella for several years, so I am comfortable with the idea of using an oil as a moisturizer. When I came across this Camellia oil by Sensei, I decided to give it a try.I am sure glad I did.This Sensei Camellia oil gives my middle-aged skin a dewy, youthful appearance.

The best procedure with this product that I have found is to use a good and gentle exfoliant on your face first and rinse it off with warm water.Directly after you have dried your face and hands, put several drops of the oil in the palm of your hand and rub both hands together.Rubbing the hands together distributes the oil and warms it, too.Then place both hands on your face and gently press for several seconds.I usually rub my hands together again to warm the remaining oil and press my palms on my cheeks again.Any excess oil can be rubbed into elbows or neck once your face is moisturized as much as you like.I have had really good results with this and this little bottle lasts for about 4 months used nightly.

(More customer reviews)Let me begin by noting the obvious - nothing is going to be an overnight magic bullet for severe skin problems, especially acne.However, Coalface is one of the better products I've used.It provides regular, gentle exfoliation courtesy of the small charcoal flakes included in the soap and sops up oil without being excessively drying.I love the smell - a dark, licorice/sandalwood scent - not everyone is a fan, but it does fade fairly quickly. Though I too have seen complaints of staining, I haven't experienced this myself.Those used to more heavily packaged products do need to adjust to using a bar soap.Invest (not that expensive) in soap dishes that drain well.My choice is essentially a wooden grill type soap dish I found at IKEA - it allows full air circulation, and I set it on top of a folded paper towel (to catch any excess moisture dripping through) in my medicine cabinet between uses.Rather than rubbing the whole bar between my hands, I just scrub one damp palm across the top of the bar until I have a fair amount of soap, then rub hands together for lather.It's very simple, just a bit different than the procedure for using liquid face cleansers.
Lush's commitment to fair trade and reasonable, ethical business practices is also very appealing.For those worried about whether this product will work, I encourage you to visit your local Lush store for a sample (if possible) or contact the company directly to see what sample/return policies are for mail orders.While I haven't ordered on-line from them, all of my in-store experiences (at 3 different stores) have been quite good.

If you love the feeling of squeaky clean skin, this is the bar for you. We put in powdered charcoal because it's such an amazing exfoliator and absorber of excess oils. We add in rosewood and sandalwood as a balance to soothe and calm, and softening licorice root decoction. (More customer reviews)This product is very convenient.I don't know about you, but I sometimes have to force myself to wash my face, especially at night.At times it seems like too much of a process!With this product, there is virtually no prep involved besides grabbing the tub and wetting your face (even less if you wash your face in the shower).For being a non-soap product, the pads foam up very nicely (you may not even need to use water although it's probably better to dilute the solution a little).I use the smooth side first to remove my makeup and clean my face and then flip the pad over and use the textured side to exfoliate.This is my favorite side!I believe exfoliating is so important!It does a great job.You can tell this product is deep cleaning because your face tingles - not an uncomfortable tingle though (not for me anyway).After I'm done, I rinse my face with luke-warm water and pat my skin dry.My skin feels so clean.I follow cleansing with using witch hazel as a toner and extra virgin coconut oil as a moisturizer.

In the past few weeks that I've been using the pads (once in the morning and once at night), my face feels softer and my skin is definitely brighter and more radiant.Just like it says - imagine that!I have added this product to my daily routine.

My skin is fairly sensitive and I was nervous about changing over to a new product without a transition.I read some reviews where people experienced an allergic type reaction.I did not experience this at all.It's possible they were allergic to one of the ingredients, or they scrubbed too hard, or they didn't rinse the cleanser off completely.

Another thing I really like about this set up is although it's more expensive than buying a container of liquid cleanser, there's really no guessing involved.When using the liquid cleansers, I sometimes use too much (which ends up being wasted by going down the drain) or not enough (which is a pain to have to get more while your face is soaped up).It should be noted, this product won the Allure's Editor's Choice Award!

*If you find the pads are too big, cut them in half and double your product!
*GREEN IDEA - instead of recycling the tub, keep it, wash it out, and use it to keep your small cosmetics (cotton balls, Q-Tips, eye shadows, etc.)

I've tried other products, and have on occassion ran out and had to go back to other brands.Within a day I can tell the difference - my skin is oily, blackheads appear and I feel a general sense of not feeling as clean.Within 24hrs I'm back to my old, clean self.I wish they made a body shampoo!

First thing I noticed when I opened the package was the wonderful smell. It's got a very pleasant and natural scent that I love. The black color of the soap is awesome and I love the fact that you can use it on your face and body. I have had it about a week and already notice a nice glow to my skin. Another thing I like about the soap is it really rinses off clean. There's no residue left at all and it makes your skin feel really smooth. I would definitely recommend this soap.

It doesn't dry out the skin or leave residue, I've only been using this to remove my makeup and keep my skin clear. My skin even feels smoother. Its an average sized bar of soap, I expect one bar to last me months. Perhaps the pack of three will last me a year? Well worth the price!!

Lanolin Agg Tval Eggwhite Facial Soap (6 ct.) Review

(More customer reviews)I have had problem skin since I was a teenager. I am now in my 50s. I have tried every kind of soap, bar, cream, etc. that you can think of. For years Mary Kay facial wash (for women, and I am not one) worked fairly good. Then I moved to Japan and it just became a chore to get it, so I gave up. I have used LUSH products and they are also good and I love them, but still nothing in the facial department that made me happy (but in fairness to them, I have not used their more expensive products).

One day in my drugstore here in Tokyo I found Lanolin-Agg-Tval. It was a little pricey, but something about "eggwhite facial soap" caught my attention, not to mention the lack of pretension and packaging. In Japan everything has to be wrapped in plastic until it is suffocated. The LAT was in a simple blue box that was sealed with a store sticker, that's it.

I bought it... and to my happy surprise, it was absolutely superb. After using it, my face feels thoroughly clean, without being dry, and I sense a slight glow, although it might be my imagination... but perhaps not, because I had a model friend say: "What is your skin regime? You look great?" No one has ever said that to me in my life, and the only possible reason I might look a little bit better is because I use LAT.

Sorry to go on, but, honestly, I am extremely happy with this product. In fact, the only reason I came to Amazon today is because my drugstore isn't selling it anymore (that gives them a chance to sell more of their own products encased in plastic). I am ordering LAT today and I plan to never be without it.

I am not a salesman, spokesperson, or anything like that. I am an extremely satisfied customer.

(More customer reviews)When I bought this little bar of soap my life was in social ruin. My acne was bad (I'm talking 5-13 breakouts at any one time)! I'm 21 and I've had acne since I was 14. I'm also half Asian so the acne would leave temporary post-marks on my ethnic skin that could last for up to a year! I was in the midst of a depression when I bought this bar of soap, because I had tried everything (prescription, natural remedies, etc.) and nothing worked, not only did nothing work, but my skin was also incredibly oily and nothing could manage it. My face was wrecked, I dropped out of school, and I rarely left the house.

Then this little bar of soap came in the mail, and little did I know at the time, that it would be the foundation for a complete 360 in my life. The soap what can I say about it? On my first day of use my oily skin became normal and glowing, the redness of my acne subsided a little, and my face felt generally healthy. In my depression there was suddenly a small glimmer of light. After the first week I was no longer experiencing any more breakouts, and my existing acne was already gone. The light was getting brighter. After a month my face was smooth like a baby again, no more oily skin, and many of my post-marks were fading more quickly than usual. I began talking to girls with confidence again, and I went out with my friends again after nearly 6 months of being a hermit.

It has been three months since I started using this, and my face, after 7 aggravating years with unmanageable skin, was finally under control. All thanks to this bar of mudsoap. I don't know how this miracle bar did it, but it did the impossible and completely changed my life. Thank you Adovia, thank you, thank you, thank you.

I recommend this to anyone with a skin problem of any kind. This baby seems to be a panacea of sorts.
