Unlike most shaving foam, which uses aerosols that are both harmful to the environment and flammable, Kiss My Face's Moisture Shave is a lotion which uses a standard pump similar to hand soap.

The Moisture Shave itself lives up to its name, and has very little odor at all. It has a very pleasant feel on the skin, and works perfectly for shaving. This Moisture Shave even stands up to my thick facial hair if I've let it grow for a few days, something most foams fail at even with fresh razor blades.

Switching to a lotion-based shave instead of foam may be a small step for the environment, but it's worth it when you have a product that works this well.

(More customer reviews)The secret to using Kiss My Face shaving cream is to use it with a shaving brush. (Put a small bit in any kind of mug or cup. Run hot water over the brush, shake it nearly dry so you don't make the cream too watery, then work the cream into a lather before applying.) You get a good lather, don't have to use as much, and your hands stay clean. I've abandoned solid shaving soaps in favor of this stuff, as it is easier to lather and doesn't build up in a shaving mug--rinses out easily.

Eucalyptus, a natural antiseptic, is also used to relieve the pain of arthritis and will increase blood flow and give a warm, soothing sensation.

You may find this cream useful if you have a cut or scratch. Your skin will heal much faster than normal. I noticed this before I really looked at the ingredients.

The addition of "allantoin/Comfrey Root Extract" is significant and explains why this heals the skin so fast. Allantoin is said to produce an increase in leukocytes/white blood cells that help to ward off infection.

Skin will regenerate faster and pain is also relieved. This cream is perfect for skin irritations, chapping, cracking of the epidermis and wounds that are slow to heal.

I tried a small sample of this product and now I'm ordering an entire tube. This is a product I don't want to live without! You can also use it on your face as a healing spot treatment or on your cuticles if they feel dry. It is a good all-purpose, skin healing formula that will impress.

Take this with you on camping trips or keep it on hand

Smells gorgeous and is non-greasy and easy to apply (so I'm told). I've noticed over the past 2 weeks of use that my husband's skin (in particular) is starting to look fresh and almost dewy. He's never been a fan of skincare products but loves this shave cream enough to ask me to get the after-shave balm for him to try next. The packaging is very masculine which I think he likes, and he is enjoying the feel and texture of the shave cream on his skin. All 3 men who received this as a gift at Christmas from me love the product and it is now one of their "must-have" bathroom essentials. Can definitely recommend you buy some if you are looking for something for that hard-to-buy-for man in your life.

(More customer reviews)I normally like Burt's Bees products, and have been wetshaving with a double edged Merkur razor with platinum blades for quite a while. Burt's Bees used to make Bay Rum shaving soap cakes that lathered well and had a nice scent.I tried this shaving cream expecting the same level of product.

It was VERY POOR compared to even dollar bars of shaving soap.

This cream stays very tacky when applied to the face, and does not mix with water well at all.As a lubricant it stays sticky on your face and gums up the razor blade badly.Even rinsing off the blade under a very hot tap does not clear the blade of hair and goo.

I tried using it straight on my face as a shaving lubricant and it remained sticky.I tried mixing it in a shaving bowl with a nice brush, and it produced no lather and got my brush sticky.It was completely useless as a shaving aid.Maybe the next time I need to paste together two sheets of paper I will get it out of the cabinet, but I recommend staying far far away from this stuff!

(More customer reviews)When I bought this little bar of soap my life was in social ruin. My acne was bad (I'm talking 5-13 breakouts at any one time)! I'm 21 and I've had acne since I was 14. I'm also half Asian so the acne would leave temporary post-marks on my ethnic skin that could last for up to a year! I was in the midst of a depression when I bought this bar of soap, because I had tried everything (prescription, natural remedies, etc.) and nothing worked, not only did nothing work, but my skin was also incredibly oily and nothing could manage it. My face was wrecked, I dropped out of school, and I rarely left the house.

Then this little bar of soap came in the mail, and little did I know at the time, that it would be the foundation for a complete 360 in my life. The soap what can I say about it? On my first day of use my oily skin became normal and glowing, the redness of my acne subsided a little, and my face felt generally healthy. In my depression there was suddenly a small glimmer of light. After the first week I was no longer experiencing any more breakouts, and my existing acne was already gone. The light was getting brighter. After a month my face was smooth like a baby again, no more oily skin, and many of my post-marks were fading more quickly than usual. I began talking to girls with confidence again, and I went out with my friends again after nearly 6 months of being a hermit.

It has been three months since I started using this, and my face, after 7 aggravating years with unmanageable skin, was finally under control. All thanks to this bar of mudsoap. I don't know how this miracle bar did it, but it did the impossible and completely changed my life. Thank you Adovia, thank you, thank you, thank you.

I recommend this to anyone with a skin problem of any kind. This baby seems to be a panacea of sorts.
