For serious acne of course I recommend a prescription product such as Retin-A. I am a U.S. born african woman with medium-dark brown skin.

(More customer reviews)I used this to help fade my acne scars. With the first two uses I noticed a difference. I didn't expect it to help so much on my acne. I am glad because I barely have breakouts now, and I know it has to be because of this. I do cleanse my face with neutrogena cream cleanser also. I use this mask at night and leave it on for 60 minutes then rinse off. The only reason I rated this 4 stars is because I may have used it about only 7 times(maybe once and sometimes twice a week) and I'm already out. It could be that I'm putting too much on my face I don't know. I just put it on to the point it is opaque where you can't see my skin. I do notice a difference in my pores also, seems to have shrunk a bit but it could just be me thinking it has.

I don't like the long list of ingredients - it still has some chemicals thrown in, like sodium benzoate. It does clean baby, and his hair smells nice. I have since learned that organic liquid castille soap (like Dr. Bronner's baby castille soap) is fine for hair and body. I put some in a liquid soap 'foaming' bottle with some jojoba oil for conditioning & I use that for shampoo. You can google recipes for homemade shampoo using castille soap. You can also use melted coconut butter or flax oil to condition your hair (sounds silly, but it works great!) Be sure to use only a little bit of coconut butter before washing your hair (yes, condition before washing, not after) and use only a small amount - it goes a long way.

(More customer reviews)I used to use Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser to wash my face at the end of the day and remove my eye makeup, but it usually didn't succeed in removing all of my eye makeup.I don't know if it's my mascara or my eyeliner that's being so tenacious but regardless, I'd rinse the cleanser off to reveal that I still had black smudgy makeup under my lower eyelids.Like the cleanser just pushed the makeup around rather than removing it.So I'd take the extra step of washing my eyes again and still I'd have to use a Q-Tip to try and gently swipe away at the black smudges afterwards.

This Olay Foaming Face Wash for Sensitive Skin removes my eye makeup from the start.Because of this, I imagine it does a better job of removing all my foundation makeup too which is important because I can be prone to breakouts if I'm not careful.

The Olay face wash is just as gentle, if not more than, Cetaphil's Daily Cleanser.It's my new favorite cleanser, and it's cheaper than Cetaphil too.And, NO FRAGRANCE.Yes!

After the first use I was pleased with how smooth and radiant my skin looked, without oiliness or the slimy feeling some skin creams can leave behind. This product simply disappeared into my skin. (More customer reviews)I have very sensitive and oily skin. I have had acne on my face in my teenage all the way to my twenties and thirties. These left deep marks. My skin has reacted to almost all over the counter products I have tried.
I have been using this Argan oil for the last 7 months. My face is smooth, the marks are diminishing. I get surprised when people tell me I have good skin.
I use it at night after I wash my face with cetaphyl sensitive skin cleanser. In the morning I cleanse with the cetaphyl, apply the Argan oil, let it sink for a few minutes and apply bare minerals mineral makeup.
The results have been fantastic. My skin looks younger than my real age. When I had acne people estimated me to be older than I was. Now they guess my age much younger.
I also use the East African shea butter sometimes.
If anybody would have told me anything would work for me, I would never have believed, especially the idea that I could use an oil on an oily face.
I am happy with this product.

(More customer reviews)I have used countless products to treat my psoriasis; MG217, prescription creams, soaps, etc...Of them all, my favorite, and, honestly, the onlytruly effective one has been Oxipor.It's a liquid that you can apply with a cotton swab, which dries quickly.It does leave a slight coloration and smell until you wash it off, but applied before bed it is only minimally inconvenient.Sadly, psoriasis means having to rotate treatments to prevent building up a tolerance to one, so you can't use it 100% of the time.But for all the time I have used it, it has never disappointed me.You have to apply it consistently, and be just a little patient for it to kick in. I am 21, and have had psoriasis for as long as I can remember,I found this product in High School, and it was truly a blessing. The scales long ago disappeared from my elbows and knees, and its last hold out is one spot on my left big toe, whose existence I attribute wholly to my carelessness.Best of luck to all!

No matter what kind of soap I used or vitamins I took, my skin still seemed to break out worse than ever before. In desperation, I went to a health food store and a woman there suggested I try this product.

Within days my skin looked better! It was less oily than before and the redness had gone down substantially. It's rather concentrated so you only need a small amount with each cleaning. Boy, could I tell a difference!

I have suggested this product to numerous friends. It's so great, after a few months of cleaning I only use it maybe once every other day or so. I will never try another product! I am a customer for life :)

Exfoliating Facial Salts - Treat Acne, Oily Skin, Blemishes Review

(More customer reviews)Just a heads up: this is actually a large plastic jar of dry sea salt. There is no binder, no lotion, no moisture, no liquid- it's simply grains of dry salt. Because of that, it's the product can be a bit difficult to use, especially if you are planning to use these salts in the shower.

The instructions state rub the salts on a clean, wet face, so I just dipped my Aveeno cleansing pads into the jar of salt and used that to rub the salt in.

On first use, I didn't *feel* much of a difference (some deep exfoliators REALLY make my skin feel slick and smooth instantly) but when I got out of the shower, I noticed my face looked really silky and had a nice glow.

I also used a handful on my legs and *that* made a huge difference. My knees were smooth for the first time in months.

I don't know if these salts will cause outbreaks, irritate my skin, etc. in the long run- if they do, I'll be sure to update this review. But for now, I am hoping that the improvement in my skin I saw just after one use will continue, and the salts will work well with the other products I currtently use on my skin (Retin-A and Olay Regenerist).

Well I'll tell you. This beauty has nothing but pure and necessary ingredients that your skin NEEDS. Your skin gets dry, and produces more oil, and that clogs your pores and you get acne blah blah blah. If you have acne, you have been through several products and have done the research.
I am in my first year of college. I have VERY fair Irish skin, practically as pale as Edward Cullen from the twilight series, and I get oily in the T-zone, but dry in the cheeks.I have done and seen it all when it comes to acne.
I used to get the occasional blemish and breakout, consisting of 2-3 pimples. Then I got to college and WHAM my acne graduated to something fierce. I was getting an army of painful pimples on my forehead, chin, sides of my mouth...not a pretty picture. I did everything I possibly could. Proactiv, Clean&Clear, Neutrogena, St. Ives, Cetaphil, Olay, Spot Treatments, etc. etc. etc. I was in a desperate search fore a "miracle product". Let me tell you now, there is NO such thing. Your acne is your genetics and your age. It comes, and it will eventually go.
I discovered the Best Bath Store by mere chance, and they had an acne facial bar that was only $5! I figured...I've already tried everything, if I try something natural and good for my face...it might be for the best. Guess what? I was right! Otherwise I wouldn't be writing this review to guide you in your endless search.
Like all acne medications, you get worse before you get better. After about two weeks, I saw true RESULTS. The bottom half of my face cleared up beautifully. My forehead is healing, and is working to get better. I am so happy that I took this route! Natural is best. Give your face a break, and it will finally thank you for it.
As for the bar itself, it does have an earthy smell, but I love that. :) Also it leaves your face SQUEAKY CLEAN! I love how soft and clean my face feels. It's like my skin is going "thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!"

Buy this bar and give it a chance, it definitely saved me. And if you're skeptical, read all the reviews on "Best Bath Store".
