(More customer reviews)I have spent hundreds of dollars on over the counter (Head and Shoulders, Selsun Blue, Burt's Bees, all-natural and internet "magic" cures) and prescription products for my psoriasis and seb derm without much relief but Ionil T did the trick.I saw a huge difference in just one use not only on my scalp but also on the scaly patches on my arms (I rubbed some on my patches while in the shower and then rinsed).Sure the smell takes some getting used to but I'm so pleased with the results, I just don't care about that.

(More customer reviews)Like all LUSH shampoo bars, Squeaky Green has the advantages of being fairly easily transportable, not very messy, and eco-friendly.It's also just a nice general shampoo.Not too drying (those with really oily scalps/hair may want something a little tougher for regular use), decent lather, and a gentle clean.The scent is light and fresh and will linger if not covered by anything else but also, so far as I've noticed, is not over-powering nor does it tend to clash with any other scents which might be a problem with a few of the other shampoo bars.
The rosemary leaves included in the bar might be daunting for some as they come off in your hair, but the solution to that is to a) rinse thoroughly and/or b) pick them out before use.
Using the bar is simple - get your hair nice and wet, just like you would for liquid shampoo, then swipe the bar from the front of your scalp down the length of your hair in several spots, either side of the head and the middle seems the easiest pattern.Add a few more swipes if you feel it necessary.Then set down the bar in a well-drained, fairly try spot, and rub your fingers in your hair like you would with liquid shampoo to build up a nice rich lather.Rinse, follow with conditioner if you like (often not necessary) and go.

(More customer reviews)As anyone with dreadlocks knows, you can't just use any old shampoo to wash them.I've heard of people using ridiculous stuff to wash their dreads, from Ivory soap (NO NO NO, drys your dreads out like nothing else!), to dish soap.There are only a handful of shampoos made specifically for dreadlocks on the market.The two biggest brands seem to be this and Dreadhead HQ.I've tried them both, and I definitely recommend the Knotty Boy.It rinses cleaner, smells great (my whole apartment smells like mint after I wash my hair, whereas the Dreadhead HQ is essentially scent-free), is completely biodegradeable (great for camping), and leaves my dreads feeling softer and less dried-out.Definitely recommended.

(More customer reviews)I bought this because hubby wanted 'real' baby shampoo/wash and I wanted something organic and natural as possible. I like the flip-top. It pops up at the touch of a button. I don't like the long list of ingredients - it still has some chemicals thrown in, like sodium benzoate. It does clean baby, and his hair smells nice. I have since learned that organic liquid castille soap (like Dr. Bronner's baby castille soap) is fine for hair and body. I put some in a liquid soap 'foaming' bottle with some jojoba oil for conditioning & I use that for shampoo. You can google recipes for homemade shampoo using castille soap. You can also use melted coconut butter or flax oil to condition your hair (sounds silly, but it works great!) Be sure to use only a little bit of coconut butter before washing your hair (yes, condition before washing, not after) and use only a small amount - it goes a long way.

(More customer reviews)I have short, colored, fine hair.I switched from Liggett's original formula to the herbal about four months ago, because the herbal works better with our hard water.It's a great product which doesn't add more plastic to the landfills, it's biodegradeable, sulfate free and my hair looks very healthy.After about a week or week and a half I find that I do get a little bit of build up, but I just keep a spray bottle of vinegar in the shower and that takes care of that.My only real complaint is that I can't find it in the stores where I live!

There is no alcohol in this mouthwash, which is a really good thing.No industrial chemicals, either.That does not mean that it's lacking in strength, however.You can really feel it working.As for the taste - excellent!

These products speak of honesty and down-to-earth goodness. They make no false claims and they tell no lies. The Burt's Bees products are pure, good for your skin and make you feel pampered from head to toe.

It seems there is a run on the Burt's Bees products at times because I often find the grocery store box of lip products empty. Have no fear because you can order them here.

This particular "gift set/sample set" is perfect for gift giving. The Apricot bath oil can be used to refill nail oil bottles. It is deliciously rich and you can use the oil on dry areas of your skin. The cuticle cream has a lovely "lemon meringue pie scent" and of course the lip balm is the best on the market.

Karma Komba is the only product I've ever tried that DEtangles in a heartbeat - all I do is lather up (and like others said, a little goes a long way) and work it into my scalp. The bubbles work their way down my hair and make it slippery enough to detangle easily. It is honestly like magic.

Tip: If you buy two shampoo bars from the LUSH stores, they give you a free tin. Rather than store my shampoo in the tin, I place the bar directly on the rack in my shower and cover it with the tin, which keeps excess water from getting onto the shampoo and causing a mushy effect.

(More customer reviews)Overall, it is a pretty good dishwashing liquid. It doesnt give me dishpan hands and it smells neutral, I never notice anything.

I have many many many allergies to common stuff, so it was nice to find something that I could use and not sneeze or get a rash. All the "natural" Ivory, etc. soaps are just another name for a new smell that sounds better but still makes me allergic but costs more.

It is a little odd, but I use this as a shampoo as well. I am allergic to every shampoo I've tried (over 60+) and seen my 4th dermatologist (allergy specialist in NY recently) who was not able to suggest anything else. I use an off the shelf conditioner (Earth Science) for people with allergies.

While I dont value this aspect highly, it does make me feel good to use such a "earth focused" product.

NOTE:
I dont think gets rid of grease like regular $1 Ajax, but it is much better than most of the other alternatives. At least this has suds, and will cut the grease eventually.

For years I've used Aubrey shampoos exclusively because of their unparalleled purity, but Aubrey products are getting quite expensive and Whole Foods isn't stocking them very regularly, either. So I thought I'd give it a try. Wow! One shampoo with this stuff, and my hair is suddenly dry and brittle like straw. It's harsh! I'm using it as hand soap instead. For hair, I'm going back to Aubrey SHAMPOO SPECIAL CARE Swimmers Normalizing Shampoo 16 oz and Aubrey Organics - Camomile Luxurious Volumizing Shampoo, 16 fl oz no matter the cost. And I'm getting a nice summer buzz cut to get rid of all that damaged hair. Hugo away!

(More customer reviews)I've been wondering why most shampoo is sold as a liquid. Most of the weight and volume in liquid soaps is water. So I thought I'd give bar shampoo a try.
There were a few regular shampoo ingredients that I wanted to avoid: palm oil and something else--I don't remember. The Ilumina Organics Shampoo had neither of those ingredients.
It's been a couple of months since I started using it and I really like it.
My hair feels healthy and I haven't gone bald yet. The shampoo smells great.
Application is simple, get a lather going in your hands and apply it to your hair and rinse. I do recommend following up with a conditioner. I have yet to find a bar conditioner though.
