(More customer reviews)Like all LUSH shampoo bars, Squeaky Green has the advantages of being fairly easily transportable, not very messy, and eco-friendly.It's also just a nice general shampoo.Not too drying (those with really oily scalps/hair may want something a little tougher for regular use), decent lather, and a gentle clean.The scent is light and fresh and will linger if not covered by anything else but also, so far as I've noticed, is not over-powering nor does it tend to clash with any other scents which might be a problem with a few of the other shampoo bars.
The rosemary leaves included in the bar might be daunting for some as they come off in your hair, but the solution to that is to a) rinse thoroughly and/or b) pick them out before use.
Using the bar is simple - get your hair nice and wet, just like you would for liquid shampoo, then swipe the bar from the front of your scalp down the length of your hair in several spots, either side of the head and the middle seems the easiest pattern.Add a few more swipes if you feel it necessary.Then set down the bar in a well-drained, fairly try spot, and rub your fingers in your hair like you would with liquid shampoo to build up a nice rich lather.Rinse, follow with conditioner if you like (often not necessary) and go.

Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser by LUSH Review

(More customer reviews)This is the LUSH product that started my addicition! I had just started using Proactiv when my girfriend gave me a sample of Angels.

The Proactiv was working for me, but was drying out my skin something wicked.

I started using Angels on Bare Skin in the afternoon and found that it really helped with the dryness caused my the harsh chemicals of the Proactiv.

Angels is moisturising and mildly exfoliating. The ground almonds really leave your face invigorated (I rub it one for a minimum of one minute (good for circulation)... It takes time for your face to absorb the goodness!)

The smell is very fresh and lavender based.

Don't be afraid of the oil in the cleanser, even if you are using Proactiv. Chances are, your face needs it and it will REALLY reduce the chafed, burning, cracked skin feeling that you feel whenever you smile.

It did not cause additional breakouts.

I removed one star becuase for oily, acne prone skin, Angels on Bare Skin ALONE will not give you the desired results that you are looking for. (I tried using just Angels and my skin was not bad, but not as good as it was when used with medicated treatment)

Then again, if you do not have acne, Angels on Bare SKin would be a FIVE STAR product for sure.

Remember when purchasing that a little goes a VERY long way and it has a shelf life of only three months.

Fifteen dollars worth will typically last me three months if I use a pea sized amount mixed with water once a day, with the occasional multiple washing.

Great value. Amazing product.

Happy Hippy Shower Gel by LUSH Review

(More customer reviews)I had no idea that after using this body gel, I would feel like my soul had been cleansed. Bergamot, Grapefruit and Frankincense blend together beautifully in a smooth cleansing gel to give you an almost unifying experience. There you were all stressed out and jumping in the shower and then suddenly you want to take another shower right after the first. This is what Lush products do and they can be addictive.

This gel may be slightly drying to dry skin, but the deep cleansing experience is worth having to rub a little extra lotion all over. I feel light and refreshed. This would be the perfect gel to take with you when traveling, when you are camping and anytime you want to feel refreshed and relaxed. Goes very well with the I Love Juicy shampoo and Veganese conditioner, both based on lemon oil. If you feel stressed out or have had a rough day, try these three products. You may be amazed at how good you feel and how they balance the emotions.

This completes the soul cleansing citrus experience...

It's great because it really moisturizes your face while it cleanses, which makes it perfect for washing off all that makeup before bed and then going to sleep with a blissfully moisturized face.However, you might feel a little sticky (it took a little getting used to for me) but if you're going to sleep anyway, it won't matter.You'll wake up with happier skin in the morning!

It also travels pretty well, just keep it in it's own little baggie.

(More customer reviews)I'm not one to review things on amazon but I want to tell everyone about this thing so here goes:I have a ton of straight fine hair and conditioners always either grease it up or frizz it out - until Lush!I was backpacking and had to eliminate weight so I picked one up on impulse one day in England, and I haven't stoppped using it since (it's been well over a year).It's perfect amount of conditioning and cleaning, my hair always looks great (never greasy), I love the environmentally-friendly lack of packaging, and one bar lasts several months.The smell is good too - I'm super picky about things being scent-free but I like the light flower-spice mix of the Godiva, and it makes the whole room smell good to boot!HIGHLY recommended.

Coalface Cleanser by LUSH Review

(More customer reviews)Let me begin by noting the obvious - nothing is going to be an overnight magic bullet for severe skin problems, especially acne.However, Coalface is one of the better products I've used.It provides regular, gentle exfoliation courtesy of the small charcoal flakes included in the soap and sops up oil without being excessively drying.I love the smell - a dark, licorice/sandalwood scent - not everyone is a fan, but it does fade fairly quickly. Though I too have seen complaints of staining, I haven't experienced this myself.Those used to more heavily packaged products do need to adjust to using a bar soap.Invest (not that expensive) in soap dishes that drain well.My choice is essentially a wooden grill type soap dish I found at IKEA - it allows full air circulation, and I set it on top of a folded paper towel (to catch any excess moisture dripping through) in my medicine cabinet between uses.Rather than rubbing the whole bar between my hands, I just scrub one damp palm across the top of the bar until I have a fair amount of soap, then rub hands together for lather.It's very simple, just a bit different than the procedure for using liquid face cleansers.
Lush's commitment to fair trade and reasonable, ethical business practices is also very appealing.For those worried about whether this product will work, I encourage you to visit your local Lush store for a sample (if possible) or contact the company directly to see what sample/return policies are for mail orders.While I haven't ordered on-line from them, all of my in-store experiences (at 3 different stores) have been quite good.

If you love the feeling of squeaky clean skin, this is the bar for you. We put in powdered charcoal because it's such an amazing exfoliator and absorber of excess oils. We add in rosewood and sandalwood as a balance to soothe and calm, and softening licorice root decoction. We recommend this lathering, sparkly cleansing bar for oiler skin because it's so great at absorbing excess oils and leaving your skin feeling fresh and clean. Karma Komba Solid Shampoo by LUSH Review

Karma Komba is the only product I've ever tried that DEtangles in a heartbeat - all I do is lather up (and like others said, a little goes a long way) and work it into my scalp. The bubbles work their way down my hair and make it slippery enough to detangle easily. It is honestly like magic.

Tip: If you buy two shampoo bars from the LUSH stores, they give you a free tin. Rather than store my shampoo in the tin, I place the bar directly on the rack in my shower and cover it with the tin, which keeps excess water from getting onto the shampoo and causing a mushy effect.

(More customer reviews)The title pretty much says it all- I love, love, love this soap.The bar is pink, the scent is sweet and candy-like, and the lather is plentiful and creamy.Lush scents are fairly complex, and it's difficult to figure out exactly what all the notes are in here.I smell sweet candy, like a slightly fruitier cotton candy.The soap lathers up easily with tons of bubbles.The scent is strong, and it's a real pleasure to use.The one big drawback is that this stuff goes quickly!A bar doesn't last very long (and it doesn't help that I want to keep scrubbing, and scrubbing, and scrubbing, because I love the scent).

(More customer reviews)This soap was one of the first Lush products I ever used, and it's still one of my favorites.This was in many ways a crash-course in what Lush is all about.They believe in complicated and unusual scents, which Demon definitely has, with its mix of apple and mint.They believe in lots of fresh ingredients, which often appear in products in obvious form- note the crush mint leaves scattered throughout the soap.They believe in fun colors and textures, making bathing a full-sensory experience, which Demon absolutely is.Some Lush products can require a few extra steps or unorthodox methods to use.That's true for Demon too, which comes wrapped in a black wax that needs to be sliced off before use.When I first used this soap I mistook the mint leaves in the bar for bits of black wax I'd missed, then I realized they were, in fact, supposed to be in there.So, what's this soap like?It has a very zingy mint scent, that's a bit out of the ordinary (in a very pleasant way).It's a gorgeous deep green color, has a strong scent, and lathers up well.Because of all the mint (leaves, oils, and whatnot) it leaves a nice cooling sensation on the skin, making this an excellent summer soap.This continues to be one of my all-time Lush favorites.

(More customer reviews)This is a zingy lemon soap with sand on top for exfoliation.Sand is a great exfoliant, and this soap exfoliates really well.There's something very pleasant about rubbing sand all over your body.This soap also smells very clean and fresh.It's got just about the zingiest lemon scent I've ever smelled.The one flaw in the design is that the sand would be better if distributed throughout the bar.Instead it just sits on the top, which means that it wears down really quickly.Overall, though, this bar smells great and is fun to use.

The smell is that of a spicy orange with a strong hint of patchouli. Leaves your skin feeling very soft, clean, and healthy.

Don't be deceived by the picture: The color of the soap bar isn't that bright of orange. It's actually a darker orange red color.
