From the second I opened the tube and smelled the delicious orange scent, I knew I had found an excellent product. It leaves your skin soft and supple, and if you forget to tone or moisturize, your skin doesn't feel like tight leather. I use the Citrus Facial Cleanser along with the Wild Lettuce Toner and Carrot Lotion, and I get compliments on my skin all the time.

It's great because it really moisturizes your face while it cleanses, which makes it perfect for washing off all that makeup before bed and then going to sleep with a blissfully moisturized face.However, you might feel a little sticky (it took a little getting used to for me) but if you're going to sleep anyway, it won't matter.You'll wake up with happier skin in the morning!

It also travels pretty well, just keep it in it's own little baggie.

There are a lot of good natural items in here, like rose and calamine and calendula. There is also detergent (sls) so your skin may find this drying. But it does work.

(More customer reviews)Let me begin by noting the obvious - nothing is going to be an overnight magic bullet for severe skin problems, especially acne.However, Coalface is one of the better products I've used.It provides regular, gentle exfoliation courtesy of the small charcoal flakes included in the soap and sops up oil without being excessively drying.I love the smell - a dark, licorice/sandalwood scent - not everyone is a fan, but it does fade fairly quickly. Though I too have seen complaints of staining, I haven't experienced this myself.Those used to more heavily packaged products do need to adjust to using a bar soap.Invest (not that expensive) in soap dishes that drain well.My choice is essentially a wooden grill type soap dish I found at IKEA - it allows full air circulation, and I set it on top of a folded paper towel (to catch any excess moisture dripping through) in my medicine cabinet between uses.Rather than rubbing the whole bar between my hands, I just scrub one damp palm across the top of the bar until I have a fair amount of soap, then rub hands together for lather.It's very simple, just a bit different than the procedure for using liquid face cleansers.
Lush's commitment to fair trade and reasonable, ethical business practices is also very appealing.For those worried about whether this product will work, I encourage you to visit your local Lush store for a sample (if possible) or contact the company directly to see what sample/return policies are for mail orders.While I haven't ordered on-line from them, all of my in-store experiences (at 3 different stores) have been quite good.

If you love the feeling of squeaky clean skin, this is the bar for you. We put in powdered charcoal because it's such an amazing exfoliator and absorber of excess oils. We add in rosewood and sandalwood as a balance to soothe and calm, and softening licorice root decoction. We recommend this lathering, sparkly cleansing bar for oiler skin because it's so great at absorbing excess oils and leaving your skin feeling fresh and clean. (More customer reviews)I am of Indian origin and have oily/combination skin. I have tried neutrgena, oil of olay and proactive. Nothing has done the changes I see when I switched to Aveeno. I decided to go with it because a hispanic friend of mine who has similar skin type showed up one day with this radiant face that I asked her what she did to make her skin so clear and radiant. She told me that all she was using was Aveeno moisturizer and cleanser (positively radiant line). I decided to take her advice and bought all three, cleanser, serum and moisturizer. In just 3 weeks I have had 2 people ask me what I have been doing that my skin looks so "glowing". I currently am recommending anyone with combination to oily skin to use Aveeno's line of products. I finally feel content that I have found something that actually feels good after putting it on and really makes a difference. I now love taking care of my skin and dont find it a hassle. I dont have to hunt down "Fair and lovely" cream from the Indian store any more.
Great product. Only thing is in my area Virginia, I cant find the serum anymore. I have been to target, rite aid and walmart and no one is carrying the serum. I have no idea why they are not carrying it. I bought mine a month ago and now cant find it. So online is where I will have to purchase it.
You will not find my reviews this elaborate on any products. I really believe in this product because of the difference I have seen.

(More customer reviews)This product is very convenient.I don't know about you, but I sometimes have to force myself to wash my face, especially at night.At times it seems like too much of a process!With this product, there is virtually no prep involved besides grabbing the tub and wetting your face (even less if you wash your face in the shower).For being a non-soap product, the pads foam up very nicely (you may not even need to use water although it's probably better to dilute the solution a little).I use the smooth side first to remove my makeup and clean my face and then flip the pad over and use the textured side to exfoliate.This is my favorite side!I believe exfoliating is so important!It does a great job.You can tell this product is deep cleaning because your face tingles - not an uncomfortable tingle though (not for me anyway).After I'm done, I rinse my face with luke-warm water and pat my skin dry.My skin feels so clean.I follow cleansing with using witch hazel as a toner and extra virgin coconut oil as a moisturizer.

In the past few weeks that I've been using the pads (once in the morning and once at night), my face feels softer and my skin is definitely brighter and more radiant.Just like it says - imagine that!I have added this product to my daily routine.

My skin is fairly sensitive and I was nervous about changing over to a new product without a transition.I read some reviews where people experienced an allergic type reaction.I did not experience this at all.It's possible they were allergic to one of the ingredients, or they scrubbed too hard, or they didn't rinse the cleanser off completely.

Another thing I really like about this set up is although it's more expensive than buying a container of liquid cleanser, there's really no guessing involved.When using the liquid cleansers, I sometimes use too much (which ends up being wasted by going down the drain) or not enough (which is a pain to have to get more while your face is soaped up).It should be noted, this product won the Allure's Editor's Choice Award!

*If you find the pads are too big, cut them in half and double your product!
*GREEN IDEA - instead of recycling the tub, keep it, wash it out, and use it to keep your small cosmetics (cotton balls, Q-Tips, eye shadows, etc.)
