(More customer reviews)I bought some of this, and I have to say that I liked it a lot. For one thing, all I am interested in is that my toothpaste has neem in it. I am not interested in all sorts of herbal mixtures. Another thing is that it tastes good. I bought another kind that was an herbal mixture just because it was cheaper, and I regretted that because it tastes yucky and that just blows it for me. It left a nasty taste in my mouth when I was done, and besides, it takes the enjoyment out of brushing my teeth: Makes me want to just get it over with and find something else more pleasant to do. But with this stuff, it wasn't like that. I could brush away and do a thorough job without feeling like I was being punished or something! I think it might have a chemical or two in there that it doesn't really need - like, it's not 100% organic, apparently. But at least it doesn't have aspartame or anything really noxious like that! So I give it five stars.

There is no alcohol in this mouthwash, which is a really good thing.No industrial chemicals, either.That does not mean that it's lacking in strength, however.You can really feel it working.As for the taste - excellent!

(More customer reviews)I used to use Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser to wash my face at the end of the day and remove my eye makeup, but it usually didn't succeed in removing all of my eye makeup.I don't know if it's my mascara or my eyeliner that's being so tenacious but regardless, I'd rinse the cleanser off to reveal that I still had black smudgy makeup under my lower eyelids.Like the cleanser just pushed the makeup around rather than removing it.So I'd take the extra step of washing my eyes again and still I'd have to use a Q-Tip to try and gently swipe away at the black smudges afterwards.

This Olay Foaming Face Wash for Sensitive Skin removes my eye makeup from the start.Because of this, I imagine it does a better job of removing all my foundation makeup too which is important because I can be prone to breakouts if I'm not careful.

The Olay face wash is just as gentle, if not more than, Cetaphil's Daily Cleanser.It's my new favorite cleanser, and it's cheaper than Cetaphil too.And, NO FRAGRANCE.Yes!

Comvita Bee Propolis Tea Tree Oil Toothpaste - 3.5 oz Review

(More customer reviews)As part of a massive personal health overhaul, I've made an effort to go as natural and organic as possible in everything I can (without turning into a hippy, LOL). As part of this effort, I've sworn off using Crest and other big pharma toothpastes that I'd grown up with in favor of Tom's of Maine. I liked Tom's fine, but after having an amazing experience these past six months using various New Zealand made skin care products like Manuka Oil 100% Pure East Cape 10ml/0.34oz, East Cape New Zealand Manuka Honey Active UMF 20+ and Manuka Honey Propolis Soap (see my other reviews), I thought I'd try tea tree and propolis for my teeth and gums. If they could do wonders for my skin, why not my mouth?

So I ordered this Comvita toothpaste for the first time. Shipping from Koru Naturals was lightning fast and securely packed as usual. The taste was pleasantly subtle with a hint of licorice, not bad at all, which is great for me as I'm not a huge fan of licorice. Although it looked a bit like gloopy wet clay coming out of the tube, I'm happy to report that after just one brushing with my Sonicare, this toothpaste left my teeth so squeaky clean it was like I just came back from having my teeth cleaned at the dentist! I could literally rub my upper lip across my front teeth and they made an honest-to-god squeaking sound. Now that's clean!

By the way, Manuka is the name for tea tree oil from New Zealand; it is ten times more powerful than its Australian counterpart (for great results fast, as in the three products I mentioned above). Despite the fact that this Comvita toothpaste is made in New Zealand, I don't think they use actual Manuka oil in it but regular tea tree oil from Australia instead (which is cheaper). Regardless, this is a great toothpaste and one I'll be switching to.

UPDATE: I've been using this toothpaste for a week now, twice a day, and still really enjoying it. Just got back from the dentist for my regular cleaning and they gave me the thumbs-up. I think the propolis in this paste is helping heal my gums (they do feel healthier and less sensitive already) and, as I mentioned before, my teeth are squeaky clean. This beats the heck out of any other toothpaste I've ever tried! Will definitely be buying it again.

But what about this particular one? It's got a widget to let out individual drops. For my needs that widget is a little over-eager: maybe five or six drops a second.

This product is a little expensive. Once shipping is included, it's over ten dollars; I can get the same amount of tea tree oil at Whole Foods for $5. It depends on how much you want that little widget.

For what it's worth, I use several drops every single day (on the diapers) and the bottle will last me six months.

We've bought it for years in the 10 or 16 oz size bottle, then when we saw the chance to save money, got the gallon bottle size, and are now re-filling the smaller squirt top bottles. The soap is non-irritating even to me (a doctor who washes his hand a lot esp. at work - where I take my own bottle of soap). It also does not seem to have ANY irritating scents or aromatic chemicals in it that would set off someone's allergies nor chemical sensitivities. And it is NOT anti-biotic soap. Anyways, I found one day, an interesting new line of natural health products from "Jason". They carry a variety of health and personal care products. After being hooked on the Aloe Vera wash for three years (2001-2004, although still hooked now and then), I decided to try their Apricot wash.

Whoa ya! The lather is generous, and quite a nice smell. Okay, guys. It's Apricot, and not Hugo Boss or Gilette stuff, but this is better for you. Naturally based, and with a large, long lasting pump tub for the shower, it's one of the best products to jump on the scene. I prefer a manly scent like mint, or cinnamon for washes, but there's nothing wrong with the non-overpowering smell of fresh apricots. Man, I'm glad that I quit using those garbage washes out there that smell like Windex and feel like cleaner for the bathroom (Lever 2000, Zest).

I wish that Jason's Apricot or Aloe Vera washes were more moisturizing. It's not that they don't, but they really are limited on that part. Still, after using their stuff in the shower, my skin doesn't feel dry, I feel clean, and refeshed, and for the price I payed ($9 in Walmart Toronto), it's the choice for me.

(More customer reviews)I have turn to Plant life soaps because it's 'all natural'.I ordered the ambrosia soap first, then this one, for I have acne, but extremely sensitive skin, AND I praised them for the natural soap, but spoke to soon.Like 'Mamabear007' mention it did make me itch and I also got a rash on my face that lasted several days I also have break outs on my body. I have tryed six of their differnet soaps(that's because I wanted to stick to natural products) to find one that won't over dry or 'annoy' my sensitive skin , and to my disappointment i've found none from Plant life. At frist I though it was another product I was using along with the soaps that was giving me that reaction, I stop using it and no change. Then I though okay, like some products it gets worst before it gets better (like different gel)but that was not the case. I have about eight of the soaps left in my house, so now I am just using them as 'decorative soap'...they do have a nice sent. But I will no long be using Plant life soaps...although I do like their detox bath salt which I use every now and then, I dont seem to react to it. So if your someone with sensitive skin, please use with caution, i'd recommend a gentle clenser like Cetaphil or use baby product, as I have started to and my skin is responding good.However if your not the sensitive type, I think you'll love these soaps, my sister LOVES them!
