For serious acne of course I recommend a prescription product such as Retin-A. I am a U.S. born african woman with medium-dark brown skin.

Tea Tree Oil Foot Soak Review

Ladies, I'm a guy, and generally couldn't care less about my tootsies--unless I'm stepping on toys in the kid's room. Anyway, I bought a Brookstone foot spa for the Mrs, and some of this stuff for her to use with it, and tears came to her eyes when she put her feet in! And she has really dry, cracked, feet. These folks sent a sample of their Tea Tree Oil Foot Balm, and I'm including that in the order, too. I rubbed it into her feet, and it fixed some mild psoriasis on my hands! Buy with confidence! MAN NOTE: This stuff smells great with a Bolivar cigar! A real treat--just don't let the guys know...;]

Next, it is great on sore muscles, and works as a foot soak too. De-ordorizes those tootsies and eases the aches of a long day on your feet.

Finally, it infuses the whole bathroom with a clean, fresh herbal scent.

Make sure you don't get it in your eyes, and be careful around more tender areas until you get used to it.

(More customer reviews)The Instead softcup caught my eye while searching for tampons one night, so I bought some to see what they were like.I really liked the idea behind them, but I thought they were too messy, wasteful, etc.At least tampons will *eventually* decay in landfills.Plastic won't, so to use 5-6 plastic disks a month...I had issues with that.Plus, I have a very heavy cycle, so while I do believe it's possible to use the Instead cup without making a mess, I never achieved it.I had to take a washcloth with me to the bathroom to avoid looking like I'd just violently murdered someone.

So, I did a bit of research and discovered Diva cups.And, WOW!Since they're shaped differently than the Instead, they are easier to use, plus I can remove mine without reenacting the Boston Massacre.

Since I do suffer from mennorghia, I cannot go all day without changing it, but I've bought myself a little bit more time between trips to the ladies' room.I used to use 2 tampons every hour.Now, I just empty this every 2 hours.Lol, I'm starting to feel almost normal!

The menstrual cup is easy to use and comes with complete directions.Instead of being surprised by my period and ruining underwear, when I feel the tell-tale backache, I insert the cup and just check it a couple of times a day.I may actually start buying nice underwear again!

(More customer reviews)I needed more body wash like I needed a ... well, since I'm in an early-morning non-creative funk, I'll use a worn-out cliche: like I needed a "hole in the head." Bear with me, I get better when the cob-webs are cleared from my fuzzy brain.

But when Amazon sent me a promotional, bearing the time-honored name of Dove, saying it "deeply moisturizes," I couldn't resist.Truthfully, what really sold me was the "pouf." I don't know what to do with that, but I thought I'd have fun experimenting. ... lol

My dove and pouf arrived and after a few showers, I must admit it does have zip; my body now feels like a velvet glove ... or a satin sheet? So all is happy in Sunny Cali. (I don't exactly feel "beautiful," but I got a big "lol" from this dramatic line in their product description: "Dove's mission is to widen today's stereotypical view of beauty and inspire all women to feel beautiful and take great care of themselves.")

... Mission? Yeah ... right!

I deleted one star because I think the price is too high; I could have purchased it at Target for much less. Sorry, Amazon.

P.S. To respond to one of the reviewers who wasn't pleased with the new bottle design because s/he couldn't place the bottle upside down to get the last "dregs" of moisturizing soap, here's a tip that I taught my kids years ago: Just add some water to the mix and VOILA: good to the last dribble.

This is NOT it!!
This "improved" formula "Purifying" is just NOT an improvement to me. The soap is great but the smell!!!!!!! UGH!!
It has lost its wonderful peppermint fragrance which lingered on your skin.
To me, the new "Purifying" almost smells mechanical or automotive. I have gone as far as adding a good peppermint oil to try to improve the aroma - which DID help. (that should tell you how much I loved the original!)
I had to change brands!!

(More customer reviews)For my first child I wanted a soap that contained less toxic chemicals than traditional baby soaps found everywhere.I settled on Burt's Bees Buttermilk Soap and Shampoo Bar.The shampoo bar was a phenomenal value as it lasted forever, but must have been discontinued as I have been unable to find it anywhere in over a year.I am expecting again and ordered three soap bars which appear to have shrunk in size from when I used them previously.It still smells great and has a toxicity level on the lower side according to the EWG cosmetic database Skin Deep, however it isn't as low as I previously thought.This led me to do some research finding a more affordable, less toxic alternative.No longer a fan.

(More customer reviews)I love this product! I've been using it for over seven years now. I have oily skin and, back in my twenties, horrible adult acne. I cured my acne within a couple of months of starting this product. Even now, if I skip a day or use something else, I'll get a breakout. The 32 oz refill size is the best buy. I fill a little squeeze bottle halfway and top off the bottle with water (50:50 dilution). To use, I sprinkle a little on a warm, wet washcloth and scrub gently. (I've found that scrubbing too hard or using the product more than once a day makes my face raw, although I'll occasionally use it twice in one day if my face is especially oily, sweaty, or dirty.) I've also successfully used it to treat my blepharitis (oily eyelid condition) and prevent the styes arising from blepharitis by very carefully rubbing the suds on my eyelids and along the margin of my eyelashes with my fingertips. NOTE: This product burns if it gets in the eyes! It also tends to dry the skin around the eyes -- I dilute very well, use it sparingly, and don't use it more than once a day. DISCLAIMER: I mentioned some medical conditions in this review. I'm not a doctor. I'm just a consumer who is describing her experiences with this product. Of course, use common sense and see your doctor first if you have any skin or eyelid condition for which you want to use this product.
