(More customer reviews)This product "tie dies" any dark cotton items you wash in it.I couldn't figure what was going on...was it the dyer cloth I was using?Did I spill some bleach in the wash? Let me tell you, do NOT use this on dark cottons, you will have white patterns like you "tie died" it.On whites it seems to do OK. But I have ruined way too many of my black and navy cotton shirts for me ever to use this again and I bought a ten pack of the stuff. Very dissappointed in the product. Would never recommend it to anyone.

(More customer reviews)I used to use Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser to wash my face at the end of the day and remove my eye makeup, but it usually didn't succeed in removing all of my eye makeup.I don't know if it's my mascara or my eyeliner that's being so tenacious but regardless, I'd rinse the cleanser off to reveal that I still had black smudgy makeup under my lower eyelids.Like the cleanser just pushed the makeup around rather than removing it.So I'd take the extra step of washing my eyes again and still I'd have to use a Q-Tip to try and gently swipe away at the black smudges afterwards.

This Olay Foaming Face Wash for Sensitive Skin removes my eye makeup from the start.Because of this, I imagine it does a better job of removing all my foundation makeup too which is important because I can be prone to breakouts if I'm not careful.

The Olay face wash is just as gentle, if not more than, Cetaphil's Daily Cleanser.It's my new favorite cleanser, and it's cheaper than Cetaphil too.And, NO FRAGRANCE.Yes!

(More customer reviews)It should be noted that I use the Free & Clear version of this, it is hard to find, but does exist.

I searched long and hard for just the right detergent for my reusable cloth menstrual pads and I found it in this product. Most of the reviews on washing performance for reusable cloth products is on diapers, but much of that applies to pads as well. This product was highly recommended, the regular and free & clear version. They don't lift the color or damage any waterproof linings (like PUL) and it's amazing at removing blood, which is known to be very difficult to remove. No new horrible stains for my liners or clothes. I use cloth pantyliners as well and tend to hand-wash those and my pads and this doesn't dry my hands out the way Woolite does. It is very concentrated just a little fills the sink and washing machine up with suds, but it rinses clean in warm or cold water. I have very sensitive skin and tend to get stains on my clothes because of my part-time job and this product is tough on the stains, but gentle on my skin.

I wish I had bought this sooner, I could have prevented some permanent stains that Woolite, nor All could rid my liners of. Though use of this detergent combined with Bac-Out did lessen those old stains a bit. I'm very happy with this product, it is far superior to the name brand detergents, is biodegradable unlike almost every detergent you will find at the grocery store, no animal testing or environmental damage of other kinds and since it is concentrated it is comparable in price to brands like All and Tide. If you are not comfortable buying online then check your local specialty grocery stores, they may not carry it in the store, but often like one near me, can special order it for you from their warehouse.

Cutting back on the amount added to the load helps some.

(More customer reviews)We thought we should be good to nature and give up some performance moving to an environmentally safe laundry powder. We have four kids and often do two loads a day, so making this change will mean a lot less mess from our waste water. Out went Tide and in went Bi-O-Kleen. The first thing we noticed was the fresh natural scent, not the pungent detergent scent from the major brands. I then noticed how little we had to use, how one box does 54 loads. Nice! And then old stains started to dissapear from our clothing. Old, kind of faded grease stains was gone! Also, dulled fabrics seemed to brighten up, but we are not sure if that's only our happines with the product rubbing off on the laundry.

We have been using this now for a while and we will never go back to the "old school powders". because not only is this good for nature, it's a better laundry powder alltogether!

Run hot water over the brush, shake it nearly dry so you don't make the cream too watery, then work the cream into a lather before applying.) You get a good lather, don't have to use as much, and your hands stay clean. (More customer reviews)I will say that this detergent appears to clean quite well after using it for about a month.I have a two month old and it doesn't irritate his skin, either.I don't pretreat things generally due to being so busy, but this detergent has gotten out all spit ups and poops no problem.However, it smells like chlorine.I am not kidding. Or some other chemical, not sure which.If you use fabric softener (Babyganics Loads of Love fabric softener is FABULOUS) it will be fine after you remove from dryer.However, for items that must be line dried, the smell is just too much.One day I washed all my delicates in the washer and hung them to dry.When my husband came home, he walked into the room where the clothes were hung and got a weird look on his face.He too, thought it smelled like chlorine.We will not be buying this again simply because of the smell.

It's fabulous - there is absolutely nothing about it that I don't like. By using it, I also learned that when I do use regular detergent, I can use a TON less than I used to.

The best part about this detergent is that everyone I've told about it also loves it - and they say that they never wouldhave known it was environmentally friendly if I hadn't told them (meaning...it works exactly the same as their old brand)

(More customer reviews)If you have sensitive skin, Sebamed Liquid Face and Body Wash might be just what you are looking for.I have extremely sensitive skin and am allergic to everything, but Sebamed products have never caused me any problems.

This particular product lathers really well and has a pleasant smell, especially if you're used to using cleansers that smell like school glue, as most 'sensitive skin' products do.

A small amount of this on a bath poof creates luxurious lather and leaves your skin feeling smooth and lightly moisturized.

I don't think that Sebamed has a "medicine-y" smell, but like I said, I'm used to having to use products with no fragrance in them at all, so the little bit of fragrance in Sebamed made me really happy (and hasn't caused me any allergies).

It's a little bit expensive, but a little goes a long way, so you may find you'll use less Sebamed than you would other shower gel-type products.

We've bought it for years in the 10 or 16 oz size bottle, then when we saw the chance to save money, got the gallon bottle size, and are now re-filling the smaller squirt top bottles. The soap is non-irritating even to me (a doctor who washes his hand a lot esp. at work - where I take my own bottle of soap). It also does not seem to have ANY irritating scents or aromatic chemicals in it that would set off someone's allergies nor chemical sensitivities. And it is NOT anti-biotic soap. This is a good thing, as soap removes nearly 100% of all bacteria from the skin of the hands, when used properly, and anti-biotic soap only adds to the burden of dangerous chemicals we pour into the environment daily, and strengthens bacteria, by giving them a chance to become immune to another chemical which we may need to use in hospitals or other specialized places someday to combat some super-bug which doesn't get washed away by normal soap.

I told him I had tried several products that were supposed to be gentle: Aveeno fragrance-free, Cetaphil, Avalon Reactive Skin line, Nature's Gate free, etc, yet they all either felt greasy, the fumes irritated my eyes, or they made me break out. He strongly suggested Vanicream and gave me a sample of the cleansing bar (soap-free) and the regular cream.
