(More customer reviews)I bought this because hubby wanted 'real' baby shampoo/wash and I wanted something organic and natural as possible. I like the flip-top. It pops up at the touch of a button. I don't like the long list of ingredients - it still has some chemicals thrown in, like sodium benzoate. It does clean baby, and his hair smells nice. I have since learned that organic liquid castille soap (like Dr. Bronner's baby castille soap) is fine for hair and body. I put some in a liquid soap 'foaming' bottle with some jojoba oil for conditioning & I use that for shampoo. You can google recipes for homemade shampoo using castille soap. You can also use melted coconut butter or flax oil to condition your hair (sounds silly, but it works great!) Be sure to use only a little bit of coconut butter before washing your hair (yes, condition before washing, not after) and use only a small amount - it goes a long way.

I fill two clean wash bins with hot water - one to dip the Huggies washcloths in, and the other for regular washcloths I use for rinsing. The Huggies soap up immediately and are big enough to fold over a few times to clean the same area without redistributing any dirt/waste. I then use a regular washcloth to rinse the cleaned area(s). Previously, I was using a washcloth dunked into a bin filled with Dove liquid body soap - it didn't seem to be as soapy and thorough as these washcloths. If you are caring for an adult/senior citizen/loved one, these are gentle and get very soapy so they ensure cleanliness wherever you use them on the body! While I am still using regular washcloths and doing almost as many loads of laundry a day, I now feel like my loved one is getting cleaner by using these disposable washcloths first. I just ordered 8 more boxes!

(More customer reviews)I've been wondering why most shampoo is sold as a liquid. Most of the weight and volume in liquid soaps is water. So I thought I'd give bar shampoo a try.
There were a few regular shampoo ingredients that I wanted to avoid: palm oil and something else--I don't remember. The Ilumina Organics Shampoo had neither of those ingredients.
It's been a couple of months since I started using it and I really like it.
My hair feels healthy and I haven't gone bald yet. The shampoo smells great.
Application is simple, get a lather going in your hands and apply it to your hair and rinse. I do recommend following up with a conditioner. I have yet to find a bar conditioner though.

(More customer reviews)I bought this soap for my children hoping it would help the skin on their hands.All of them suffer from dry, cracked, bleeding hands in the Winter time.Regular hand soap strips too much of the natural oil from their skin.I would say within a week of using this product their hands had healed up and looked soft and healthy.I also felt great about using a product with all natural ingredients.I would have loved to keep using it, but my kids went through the bottle pretty quickly and I just can't spend that much for soap on a regular basis.I had 5 children using it and I would guess it lasted about 3 weeks.Maybe it would help if one pump put out a smaller amount of soap?
