(More customer reviews)I am 42 years old and have had acne all my life.Recently I have developed a sensitivity to Benzoyl Peroxide and have been searching for a replacement.This product is amazing, quickly clears up pimples without over drying or redness.I use it with Burts Bees Soap Bark and Chamommille cleanser and my skin is clear, soft and relatively pimple free. I highly recommend this product and even better its cruelty free!

(More customer reviews)Just a heads up: this is actually a large plastic jar of dry sea salt. There is no binder, no lotion, no moisture, no liquid- it's simply grains of dry salt. Because of that, it's the product can be a bit difficult to use, especially if you are planning to use these salts in the shower.

The instructions state rub the salts on a clean, wet face, so I just dipped my Aveeno cleansing pads into the jar of salt and used that to rub the salt in.

On first use, I didn't *feel* much of a difference (some deep exfoliators REALLY make my skin feel slick and smooth instantly) but when I got out of the shower, I noticed my face looked really silky and had a nice glow.

I also used a handful on my legs and *that* made a huge difference. My knees were smooth for the first time in months.

I don't know if these salts will cause outbreaks, irritate my skin, etc. in the long run- if they do, I'll be sure to update this review. But for now, I am hoping that the improvement in my skin I saw just after one use will continue, and the salts will work well with the other products I currtently use on my skin (Retin-A and Olay Regenerist).

(More customer reviews)I'm really amazed at how much improvement in my skin on my face I see after I rinse off this mask. Make sure you really let it dry though - the time listed on the box (5-10min) I found was not enough for it to dry. If you leave it for like 15-20 minutes and really let it dry, it really sucks out all the bad stuff from your pores and puts in minerals and aloe vera and other nutrients. The great thing about it for me is that it really balances out my skin so it's not nearly as oily and I can see zits and blackheads that were there before greatly reduced - it's really amazing how much better your face looks when you take this mask off, I told my husband it's like really taking off a mask of dirty, ugly skin! :)

I've tried other products, and have on occassion ran out and had to go back to other brands.Within a day I can tell the difference - my skin is oily, blackheads appear and I feel a general sense of not feeling as clean.Within 24hrs I'm back to my old, clean self.I wish they made a body shampoo!

Dudu-Osun African Black Soap (100% Pure) Pack of 3 Review

(More customer reviews)This dudu-osun is a very good bar of soap and is usually $4 a bar. My entire family uses it so I have to buy it in packs of 24. My teenage son loves it because it keeps his skin clear and even toned. He had very dark acne scars but they have faded so much that you can hardly tell they were ever there not to mentioned his face is probably a shade if not two lighter than before. I have a 10yr old son (who is Albino) and a 9yr old daughter (who has extra dry skin). They both use it with no issue and my hubby (works in a chemical plant) loves how clean he feels out of the shower. When anyone is bathing, you will know it, the entire house smells like a very tropical place.

I considered giving it three stars because I can't use this soap, it gives me a burning sensation all over my body and my face is irritated for days afterwards. But since my cheeks, nose & chin have become so smooth in the little time I did use it, I'd like to give it a 4.5.My pores have practically vanished and I have some acne scarring that has lightened significantly. I do use the dudu-oson from time to time on my face knowing that even though I am going to pay for it, my skin will be glowing.
