The predominant fragrance is mint (with other subtle undertones), and it cleans wiithout massive amoountss of suds.Ingredients innclude organic floral waters of peppermint and lavender, organnic extracts of gingko biloba, gotu kola, sage, and wild thyme, organic plant oils, and vitamins A and E. No animal ingredients, no animal testing, and ph balanced.

It sat in our closet for about a year before I came down with PUPPS (a nasty, itchy pregnancy related rash). My midwife recommended oatmeal baths and soaps, so I dug this out. It was the most amazing treatment anyone could ask for! While rubbing it on my belly, the little pieces of oats gently scratched the itch, and the oatmeal soothed it. I was taking 3-4 baths or showers a day and this soap never dried out my skin. Not to mention it smells wonderful!

The only drawback is that it withers away quite rapidly, especially if you do not have a place to put it to completely dry out between each use. I would use it all the time if it wasn't for that!

(More customer reviews)This is not a medicinal product, so the results are not dramatic, but it is a very gentle, soft, natural product which left my skin very soft (some OTC and prescription treatments dried my skin too much).
The product has a honey colored tint, which means you have to rub it in well to make sure your skin isn`t yellow when you wear it.
It also has a honey fragrance, which isn`t too bad, but my cats loved the smell and tried to rub up against my face, and then their fur got stuck in it too...
Overall it is a very gentle product, probably best for mild acne and spot treatment. I am originally from New Zealand, so buying something made in NZ is always my first choice.

(More customer reviews)This is truly a perfect soap.The scent is nice, not overpowering, and good for your skin.The price is also the best I've been able to find on the internet.

However, I'll have to find another distributor.I'm boycotting Amazon because I just learned (after purchasing this product) that they're the only online bookseller left that is selling dog fighting and cockfighting magazines and videos. These magazines advertise the sale of fighting animals and cockfighting weapons -- sales made illegal by federal law.

I understand freedom of speech, but although I find those products "objectionable" (Amazon's word) and disgusting (my word), the issue is that the First Amendment doesn't protect companies advertising illegal contraband, and that's exactly what the magazines sold by Amazon are doing. I urge you to contact Amazon and ask them to stop selling these products. Thank you.

It doesn't dry out my skin and I have never felt any irritation from this soap. In my opinion, Aubrey's bar soaps lather better than the liquid. Both are excellent products though!
