(More customer reviews)Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Oil Special Shampoo/Conditioner is amazing!I have always loved it, but I hadn't bought any in several years.Immediately upon using it after I got this bottle, I remembered why I love it so much -- I really like the scalp-stimulating tingle that it leaves after using it!Also, which I wasn't expecting, after using it for a day or two, I noticed my hair being softer and looking nice and shiny!I had been using less expensive "drugstore" brands for so long, I forgot what a nice shampoo/conditioner could do for my hair!I'm really glad I bought it, and I have since ordered other products from the line that I can't wait to try!

Freederm HC - Eczema - Dermatitis - Skin Rash cream Review

(More customer reviews)This cream worked wonders for me after I started using it in January 2007.I am a chronic eczema sufferer - have had it since I was a baby - and have never been able to live without super strength cortisone.Freederm's combination of the mild (1%) cortisone and anti-microbial (benzalkonium chloride) entirely cleared up all my milder eczema problem areas (face, arms, torso) and significantly improved my severe hand eczema.I was ecstatic.But when reordered, the product that came was completely different - no cortisone, no antimicrobial, totally different base.I admire Freederm's effort to make a nonmedicated cream.However, this new formulation not only doesn't work for me, it actually irritates my skin.I am baffled by Freederm's apparent decision not to offer both versions.And I also feel that it is not truthful for them to post all the glowing testimonials when the testimonials are for an entirely different product.

For fans of the discontinued medicated product, I found a great dermatologist at Stanford who recommends mixing cortisone (the lowest strength that works for you) with antibacterial cream (Bactroban - you need a prescription).Same theory and works as well as the old Freederm medicated cream.

Dabur Neem Toothpaste 100ml Review

(More customer reviews)I bought some of this, and I have to say that I liked it a lot. For one thing, all I am interested in is that my toothpaste has neem in it. I am not interested in all sorts of herbal mixtures. Another thing is that it tastes good. I bought another kind that was an herbal mixture just because it was cheaper, and I regretted that because it tastes yucky and that just blows it for me. It left a nasty taste in my mouth when I was done, and besides, it takes the enjoyment out of brushing my teeth: Makes me want to just get it over with and find something else more pleasant to do. But with this stuff, it wasn't like that. I could brush away and do a thorough job without feeling like I was being punished or something! I think it might have a chemical or two in there that it doesn't really need - like, it's not 100% organic, apparently. But at least it doesn't have aspartame or anything really noxious like that! So I give it five stars.

Burt's Bees Bay Rum After Shave Balm 4fl oz Review

(More customer reviews)After much trial and error, I have found two aftershave lotions worth recommending and Burt's Bees Bay Rum Aftershave is my favorite. Like my second choice, C.O. Bigalow Apothecaries' Bay Rum Aftershave, Burt's appears to be made one batch per year - around the hollidays. By August both brands seem to be only available on Ebay or, at a rare, occasional, toiletry chain store where the uninitiated have passed them by.

Burt's has a spicy, 'pirate-like' punch. It is a light, crisp balm with the bay rum standing out from the highlights. It makes my skin feel good and it has that manly scent that we are all looking for!

Bigelow's Bay Rum Aftershave is a light, creamy balm with a refreshing scent. While Bigalow's is bay rum scented, it is balanced with other highlights that give it a really clean, metro finish.

If you're a bay rum freak, you will want to keep both brands on hand.

January 2010 update - I'm now using Burt's Bay Rum Aftershave exclusively.It is the best!

Kirkland Signature 2x Ultra Laundry Detergant 170 Oz., 110 Loads Review

(More customer reviews)We've tended to use Tide as our laundry detergent. Consumer Reports says it's one of the best and we agree. It's been an excellent detergent, without question. However, we belong to one of those warehouse store organizations and their competing product is Kirkland Signature Ultra Laundry Detergent. It's much cheaper than Tide, and that provides an incentive to try it. In addition, one month they gave us an extra two-dollars-off coupon and that proved to be just too much to resist. We tried it, we liked it, we've been using it ever since.

Detergents would be very hard for an individual to judge. There are no adequate controls on any home testing experiment. It would probably be best to look at Consumer Reports judgments and then see if it fits your own needs and observations. That's difficult too. I guess the bottom line is, are you satisfied with using this product? In the case of Kirkland Signature Detergent, the answer is yes. Completely. Would you ever go back to Tide? Sure, but it costs a lot more and I have no reason to believe it will perform any better. So, what does one do? Me? I buy the Kirkland Signature Detergent. Why would I join a warehouse store if I didn't take advantage of their products and prices?

(More customer reviews)I have used noxzema on and off for years.I just started using it again last winter when my skin became too dry from using soap.It doesn't dry out my face when I cleanse with it.I love the menthol in it and it wakes me up in the morning shower.My face feels so clean after I use it because of the menthol in this product.It is great on sunburns too!I think every house should have a jar of this on hand for both sunburn and cleansing the face. I am only giving it 4 stars though because while I love using it, it doesn't perfom any miracles or anything.It just is a nice simple inexpensive product.
