(More customer reviews)this soap lathers nicely, and has a rather pleasant musky/soapy sandalwood scent which is not at all overwhelming. it lubricates the skin well, for a great shave. i previously was using col. conks almond shave soap, which also is pretty decent, but i think i like this better. i'm not sure if it matters, but i am using aMerkur Chrome Long-Handled Razor and the Tweezerman Men's Shaving Brush
