(More customer reviews)My wife found this Canus Goat's Milk Fragrance Free Bar Soap while she was visiting her relatives up in Seattle, WA.It was in a drug store for almost $1.99/bar.We can't find it locally, so I looked here on Amazon.Amazingly, it's an Amazon Prime item and is currently selling for a total price of $1.44/bar (much cheaper than store bought).We've been using it for several weeks now and love it.There's no artificial fragrance and it looks and feels just like "normal" soap.It does have a slight smell of (I think) glycerin and salt.The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that my wife thinks her skin is slightly drier than when we were using a normal moisturizing soap.I don't notice any difference.According to the label, the ingredients (and my best shot at what they're for) are:

Sodium Tallowate (cleansing)
Sodium Cocoate and/or Sodium Palm Kernelate (cleansing)
Water
Fresh Goat's Milk (moisturizing)
Glycerin (moisturizing)
Titanium Dioxide (white pigment)
Sodium Chloride
Tetrasodium EDTA (water softener?)
DMDM Hydantoin (preservative)

From my understanding of soap making, the Sodium Tallowate, Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Palm Kernelate (all fats), and Sodium Chloride (salt) ARE soap.Though not entirely free of other things, the remaining ingredients seem reasonable and this soap is a possibility for those with chemical sensitivities (they'll have to test it for themselves, though).

Overall, I rate this at a Very Good four stars out of five.Highly recommended.

(More customer reviews)I bought a 1 kilo bag of Green Virgin Soap Nuts at the Oldsmar Flea Market in Tampa. It had 3 wash bags inside. The first load I did was sheets and pillow cases. I was amazed at the results. Everything was so soft and didn't really smell like anything, just clean and fresh. I couldn't be happier with all my laundry. I put 5 soap nuts in a bucket and sprayed water in it from the hose. It worked great and i didn't dry the car like normal and it didn't leave water spots. My sinuses feel better since I started using the soap nuts too. Highly recommended.

Soap nuts are a berry that grows on the Chinese Soap Berry Tree. They contain a natural soap that is released when put in water. They are Mother Natures gift to man and have been used for centuries in Asian cultures. They are an amazing laundry detergent. Just put 4 to 5 Soap Nuts in the included wash bag and throw in the washer with the clothes. (we include 3 wash bags in the kilo size) Soap Nuts work great for getting odors out of clothes. Shirts that are smelly from fishing or sports come out smelling clean & fresh like you hung them outside on a clear spring day. Unlike chemical detergents like Tide etc, that try to cover up odors with toxic scents. Soap nuts actually remove odors. We had an old cooler that had been stored for a while. When we opened it, it stunk. We washed it with dish soap and that didn't help. Then we tried soap nuts. We threw 4 soap nuts in a jar of cold water and shook it up. They made a lot of suds. Then we poured the liquid in the cooler and washed it out, and like magic the cooler smelled fresh & clean. Not even a hint of the bad odor. Unlike what other sellers are saying Green Virgin Soap Nuts work great in all water temperatures. For cold just wash as normal. There is no need to soak the nuts in hot water and then throw the water in the washer. Maybe Green Virgin Soap Nuts are better or maybe they never tried them in cold water and just copied off of each other. Ours work great in cold water. Just like with chemical detergents some stains will need prespotters and whites will come out whiter with bleach. But you will never need fabric softener or dryer sheets again. If you want a scent in your clothes use essential oil. Just sprinkle a few drops on a sock in the dryer. Buy Green Virgin Soap nuts. You'll save money. You'll help clean up the environment. Your clothes will last longer & your towels will be more absorbent. And most important you & your family will feel better & be healthier. (google "laundry detergent health hazards")

It washed my dishes and left them spotless and scentless. My child is extremely sensitive to perfumes and scents and this product did not bother her at all. In the past her eyes would become red and swollen when I used other detergents.I was extremely nervous about ordering this product initially because of the output of so much money on 12 bottles for a product I had never tried before.I ordered it via the subscription plan and am EXTREMELY satisified with this product. It is a GREAT price on each bottle considering that it will wash at least 60 loads when using 1 Tablespoon per load. I have soft water and use 1/2 tablespoon for each dispenser cup.

(More customer reviews)Ipicked this up because I like Dr. Bronner's soaps and I like their use of organic and fair trade ingredients and their advocacy for good causes. I expected good quality from Bronner's, but I didn't expect it to be much better than anything else I'd used. (Shaving gel is shaving gel in my experience.) But this really is much better than any other shaving gel, cream or foam I've used!

It really feels smooth and leaves my face feeling soft and less irritated than when I shave with regular gels or creams.

It also has a VERY pleasant sent from the natural ingredients, even though it doesn't have any perfumes or even essential oils.

(More customer reviews)I highly recommend Dr. Bronner's Unscented. I started using it in a spray bottle with baking soda and water because it does not trigger my migraines and when I realized how well it cleaned I started using it to clean pretty much everything in my home.

The scents and chemicals in mainstream cleaners were causing such severe migraines that I could not clean my house.Newer `green' cleaners from Clorox and the like did not help either because of the fragrances.I learned about Dr. Bronner's and gave it a try.The scented versions are too strong for me so I stick with the unscented.Most of my friends like the unscented too because they can add whatever essential oils they need (or are in the mood for) to clean.

Information on the internet for green cleaning is all over the place and there is a lot of bad advice out there.I recommend getting a book on green cleaning that will bring all of the information together - check one out from your library or purchase one if you've got a little extra money.For a basic over view of green cleaning I recommend Jill Potvin Schoff's Green Up Your Cleanup (The Green House).For a comprehensive book with a lot of depth, try Renee Loux's Easy Green Living: The Ultimate Guide to Simple, Eco-Friendly Choices for You and Your Home.(I have written reviews on both books.)

The only things I do not use this soap for are washing my hair and doing the dishes.I have really oily hair and the castile soap leaves it very stringy and with a lot of oil in it.I've got several friends who use it as shampoo and they do not have the same problem that I do.I also do not use it for dishes because it is more cost effective for me to get Seventh Generation dish products from Amazon's Subscribe & Save program.As a side note, Dr. Bronner's works great with oxygen bleach (like OxyClean) for laundry, but I use Seventh Generation laundry soap and oxygen bleach instead because it is more cost effective per load.

Yes, the writing on the bottle is kooky, but nothing says you have to read it.This castile soap works better then any other castile soap I've tried.I do not normally spend money with companies that speak in terms of religion, but given the safeness and effectiveness of the product combined with their IMO certified fair trade practices to purchase organic ingredients, I don't care WHAT the label says.

The product contains: water, saponified organic coconut & olive oils, organic glycerin, organic hemp oil, organic jojoba oil, citric acid, and Vitamin E.

Clearly Natural Liquid Soap Unscented With Pump Review

(More customer reviews)Most "unscented" products have some faint scent added to them, but this label is honest. If you dislike having smelling hands after attempting to wash them clean, then I recommend giving this soap a try.

The soap itself cleans skin just fine. It's also thick enough to not squirt out of the dispenser. (I've tried some soaps that can actually overshoot when dispensed)

The pump on the dispenser is on the cheap side, but works just fine. If you want a smooth pump, then pouring this soap into a preferred dispenser is always an option.

I have yet to see a liquid soap that's not vegan. But to be clear, this soap does not contain stearic acid (usually an animal product).

(More customer reviews)I like this soap very much. It works well on a variety of skin. My skin is dry and somewhat sensitive. Others in my household have very oily skin. Tom's is good for all of us.

Its called "moisturizing" but doesn't moisturize any more than ordinary "non-moisturizing" soaps.

It is unscented, but isn't scent-less. Its own smell is faint and I find it in-offensive, unlike some unscented, all natural soaps I've tried.
