It never dried out my skin, and there was always a soft feel after washing. If you want a great purifying mud soap, I've found this one to be excellent, and long lasting too!

It smells great and wears beautifully under make-up. Also can be worn alone, gives face and neck a soft focus look. I have used many products and am now faithful to this one. You don't need a lot, a bit goes a long way. It's really that good, use it morning and night. Love it!

As for its ability to repel mosquitoes, I cannot say.But its worth a try.

(More customer reviews)I'm a big fan of Lush products, but one of the major things that turns me off about their soaps is that I find many of them smell way too strong, or too much like something that I'd want to eat rather than wash myself with. Because of that, Sea Vegetable is one of my favorite soaps. It doesn't melt away as quickly as some of the others, looks really pretty (for those of us that like to be distracted by things in the shower), and cleans really well. The scent is present, but mild.

I can see why people would say that this soap is a bit boring compared to other LUSH products, but for those of us who aren't too keen on a complete olfactory attack with every shower, this "boring" little soap is definitely the way to go.

(More customer reviews)This product is very convenient.I don't know about you, but I sometimes have to force myself to wash my face, especially at night.At times it seems like too much of a process!With this product, there is virtually no prep involved besides grabbing the tub and wetting your face (even less if you wash your face in the shower).For being a non-soap product, the pads foam up very nicely (you may not even need to use water although it's probably better to dilute the solution a little).I use the smooth side first to remove my makeup and clean my face and then flip the pad over and use the textured side to exfoliate.This is my favorite side!I believe exfoliating is so important!It does a great job.You can tell this product is deep cleaning because your face tingles - not an uncomfortable tingle though (not for me anyway).After I'm done, I rinse my face with luke-warm water and pat my skin dry.My skin feels so clean.I follow cleansing with using witch hazel as a toner and extra virgin coconut oil as a moisturizer.

In the past few weeks that I've been using the pads (once in the morning and once at night), my face feels softer and my skin is definitely brighter and more radiant.Just like it says - imagine that!I have added this product to my daily routine.

My skin is fairly sensitive and I was nervous about changing over to a new product without a transition.I read some reviews where people experienced an allergic type reaction.I did not experience this at all.It's possible they were allergic to one of the ingredients, or they scrubbed too hard, or they didn't rinse the cleanser off completely.

Another thing I really like about this set up is although it's more expensive than buying a container of liquid cleanser, there's really no guessing involved.When using the liquid cleansers, I sometimes use too much (which ends up being wasted by going down the drain) or not enough (which is a pain to have to get more while your face is soaped up).It should be noted, this product won the Allure's Editor's Choice Award!

*Softens and brightens skin
*Portion control (no worries on having to figure out how much to use)
*Great for travel (throw some in a baggie and go)
*Easy to use
*Only 28 pads come in the container

Cons:
*More expensive than liquid cleanser
*Tub is large and takes more room
*Face can feel a bit dry after cleansing

Tips:
*If you find the pads are too big, cut them in half and double your product!
*GREEN IDEA - instead of recycling the tub, keep it, wash it out, and use it to keep your small cosmetics (cotton balls, Q-Tips, eye shadows, etc.)
