This hemp rose soap from Dr. Bronner's is amazing! It has none of the harmful ingredients found in many commercial soaps, like sodium laryl sulfate, etc. It's pure and smells absolutely fabulous--not overly rose-y, more like an earthy-type rose. The scent is very natural and authentic too, not perfume-y. One thing you should be aware of is that it doesn't foam up a lot because it has no chemical foaming agents; this, however, is fine by me. I just use a little bit more, or clean up without the foam.

I like that it has natural oils in it as well so that it's not drying. I use it solely as a bath soap, but apparently all of the Dr. Bronner's Soaps can be used for everything from body care to household cleaning. I love this soap and find it gentle enough to even use on my face, yet it does clean thoroughly. I love how it makes shaving my legs easy as well, because of the oils.

It leaves little to no residue. I have read that it can be used to brush your teeth, do the dishes, and bathe your pets!

I am hooked, and plan to use Dr. Bronner's exclusively from now on as a mainstay in my home. I've been looking for a natural and versatile product like this for a very long time.

Highly recommended.

(More customer reviews)Ipicked this up because I like Dr. Bronner's soaps and I like their use of organic and fair trade ingredients and their advocacy for good causes. I expected good quality from Bronner's, but I didn't expect it to be much better than anything else I'd used. (Shaving gel is shaving gel in my experience.) But this really is much better than any other shaving gel, cream or foam I've used!

It really feels smooth and leaves my face feeling soft and less irritated than when I shave with regular gels or creams.

It also has a VERY pleasant sent from the natural ingredients, even though it doesn't have any perfumes or even essential oils.

(More customer reviews)This castile soap is very good.I like the eucalyptus spearamint scent the best.The scent is not as strong and the product is not as concentrated as another brand I tried, but this one cost 30% less.I use it to make my own bodywash and shampoo, so I just add a little less water then my recipe calls for and it works great and I am still saving a significant amount of money.Thus I will stick with this brand as I am very satisfied with it.

So I do it at home.It's a dirty job but someone has to do it. ME. After cleaning, lubing and re-assembling and wiping down the gun, my hands look like I just spent the day in a coal mine. A few squirts of GOJO and wash under cold water-no more coal mine hands. I would imagine being a grease monkey and repairing a car engine this product would be useful too. So whether you change a spark plug or shoot a .45-this product comes in handy.

The only drawback for some would be-Gojo feels like your washing your hands with wet sand-personally it doesn't bother me.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When cleaning your hands after cleaning a gun-always use cold water. Hot water opens the pores and considering what may be contained in the residue on your hands from the gun-it's probably a wise thing not to let it absorb into your skin.

(More customer reviews)I was looking for something without triclosan (antiseptic).Most of the "all natural" soaps I sniffed at BigStore smelled kinda fruity... y'know, not really "manly".This was different - smells incredibly good.Strong orange scent plus something cologne-y.I had friends who actually asked to wash their hands with it when they came over, it smelled so good.

As a soap?Well, it gets foamy.A little bit is plenty, the 12 oz bottle lasted a good 3 months or so.They were out of it at BigStore last night, happy to see that Amazon carries it, less happy to see that BigStore's markup was at least $2/bottle.
